Recipe: Idigotine Blue Ink

Indigotine blue ink has an intense blue hue that shows no change even after four weeks.

Processing

Step 1: Dissolve gum arabic in water, add the indigotine blue and dilute further as needed.
Step 2: The amount of water in this historical recipe is calculated very tightly. The ink is quite thick and still needs to be diluted with at least three times the volume of water.

Ingredients

5 g Gum Arabic Powder (#63330)
10 g Indigotine Blue (#94160)
50-100 g Water (#65000)
